Collect Limited Edition PACIFIC RIM ez-link Cards and Get to Travel for Free

Stand a chance to win a year’s worth of free travel for collecting all six designs, available at selected TransitLink ticket offices

SINGAPORE, 18 July 2013 – EZ-Link presents the limited edition PACIFIC RIM ez-link card series and the opportunity to get up to 12 months’ worth of free travel on public transport. Available in six thrilling designs depicting characters and scenes from the latest blockbuster movie, the cards will be released over three weeks starting from today, for consumers to capture a part of this epic adventure in their wallets.

The first card in the series featuring the PACIFIC RIM movie poster will be on sale on 18 July; followed by individual Jaeger character art: Gipsy Danger on 23 July, Striker Eureka on 26 July, Cherno Alpha on 31 July, Crimson Typhoon on 5 August and Coyote Tango on 7 August. PACIFIC RIM is the epic sci-fi action adventure currently showing in cinemas in 3D and IMAX 3D, where humans build massive robots known as Jaegers to help combat monstrous alien creatures, known as Kaiju, which threaten to take over the Earth.

Each of the limited edition PACIFIC RIM ez-link cards is available at S$12; with S$5 as cost of the card and S$7 as the minimum top-up value. Collecting all six designs in the series and sending in a picture of the collection to promotions@ezlink.com.sg will give the collector a chance to win a year’s worth of free travel on public transport.

In addition, a total of 10 existing and new EZ-Link Activate! members as well as PAssion Card Activate! members will stand to win three and six months’ worth of free travel on public transport respectively, by sending in any one of the six designs with their NRIC number also to
promotions@ezlink.com.sg. Any ez-link card holder can become an EZ-Link Activate! member by signing up at ezlinkactivate.com.sg or via the ‘EZ-Link’ mobile app for free.

The cards will be available at the TransitLink ticket offices at the following MRT stations, while stocks last:

This is the second series of limited edition blockbuster movie ez-link cards released by EZ-Link, with the first being the MAN OF STEEL™ ez-link cards launched on 14 June 2013.
