Advisory Notice

We refer to the article, “Unauthorised transaction on EZ-Link’s FEVO Card” by Straits Times on 3 May 2019, EZ-Link.

This is not a case of data breach as erroneously reported by ST. No system was compromised.

We would like to assure EZ-Link CEPAS cardholders that the unauthorised transactions applies to EZ-Link’s FEVO Mastercard cards, and does not apply to all local EZ-Link CEPAS cards used in Singapore for transit.

EZ-Link was the first to detect these suspicious overseas transactions made to FEVO Mastercard cards and immediately took proactive action to investigate and block these cards from similar fraudulent transactions to protect our cardholders.

EZ-Link has also informed affected cardholders about the unauthorised transactions. We have blocked their cards for security reasons and the affected amounts have been refunded to them. As an added precaution, EZ-Link has deactivated all affected cards and is in the process of issuing replacement cards to affected customers at no cost.


With effect from 20 January 2015, the top-up service for ez-link card will cease at all SingPost oulets and SAM. Cardholders can continue to top-up their ez-link cards at:

With effect from 1st January 2015, the EZ-Link Season Pass service will cease.

Existing pass holders can continue to purchase Weekly Passes and Monthly Passes until 25th December and 1st December respectively. EZ-Link will also continue to accept new Pass applications until 31st October 2014, although we do not encourage new applications in view of the impending service cessation.

After 31st December 2014, customers can continue to use the EZ-Link Season Pass as a normal adult ez-link card for public transport and at any ez-link acceptance point. Otherwise, they can also go to any TransitLink Ticket Office to get a refund of the remaining value in the ez-link purse of their passes.


With effect from 1 July 2014, the convenience fee of $0.20 per top up will be implemented across all DBS, OCBC ATMs and AXS stations. Cardholders can continue to enjoy free top ups at all Transit Link sales offices, Transit Link Add Value Machines (AVM) and General Ticketing Machines (GTM) located at MRT stations and selected bus interchanges and EZ-Link Top-up Machines at People’s Association Community Centres.

EZ-Reload (Auto Top-Up) using VISA or MasterCard credit/debit cards issued by DBS Bank and Citibank will now also enjoy rebates on the $0.25 convenience fee charged for all cardholders. To apply, please click here and enjoy the benefits of EZ Reload Now!
