EZ-Link Motoring Service
EZ-Link Motoring Service is a post-paid card-less payment service provided by EZ-Link for motorists for their Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) and carpark (EPS) charges.

To register for an EZ-Link Motoring Service account, simply:
- Download the EZ-Link app, head on over to the ‘Discover’ tab, click on ‘EZ-Link Motoring’, register your vehicle number and add your preferred bank card for payment.
- Upon successful application, an email with the effective start date of EZ-Link Motoring Service for your vehicle will be sent to you within 2 working days.
Please continue to use your stored-value card for ERP charges prior to the effective start date.
By signing up for EZ-Link Motoring Service, ERP gantry charges will be charged to your credit or debit card and you will never have to worry about having a card with insufficient value in the in-vehicle unit (IU) when they go pass ERP gantries.
The sign-up process is simple and there is no service charge or monthly fees.
If your stored-value card is in the IU when passing through a gantry, the ERP charges will be deducted from the stored-value card. However, should there be no card or insufficient value detected in your card, the full ERP amount will then be charged to your EZ-Link Motoring Service account.
We are progressively rolling out EZ-Link Motoring Service acceptance for carparks in Singapore. The list of carparks currently accepting EZ-Link Motoring Service can be found here. Please note that EZ-Link Motoring Service payment will take precedence over your card in the IU for carpark payments. For complimentary ticket holders, you can scan/insert your ticket and your EZ-Link Motoring Service transaction will be cancelled.
Motorists who own a Singapore registered vehicle fitted with either the 1st or 2nd Generation IU can apply for EZ-Link Motoring Service. Vehicle owners will need to register with their NRIC/FIN number, vehicle number and credit or debit card number.
No. EZ-Link Motoring Service registration is currently not applicable for company-registered vehicles.
REGISTRATION
You can register for the EZ-Link Motoring service with Mastercard/VISA credit or debit cards issued locally in Singapore by Citibank and DBS.
We are currently only able to accept VISA/MasterCard Credit or Debit Card issued by Citibank and DBS. EZ-Link Motoring Service sign-ups. We regret that DBS AMEX cards are not accepted for registration.
EZ-Link Motoring Service is absolutely free. There is no subscription fee or service fee for EZ-Link Motoring Service. You will only be required to pay for the ERP or carpark (EPS) charges that you have incurred.
A nominal fee for pre-authorisation of is made to your credit or debit card to authenticate on the validity and cardholder’s identity during the point of registration on the website. It does not reflect that an actual charge has been made to your credit or debit card. The amount will be released back to your account after the holding period determined by the issuing bank of the credit card.
Pre-authorisation is set at $50 per vehicle and only sets aside part of your card’s credit limit for charges via EZ-Link Motoring Service. It does not reflect that an actual charge has been made to your credit card. This earmarking will be held every 5 days and it allows your EZ-Link Motoring Service charges to be processed when they are incurred. The actual charge will only be made when there are ERP or carpark (EPS) transactions incurred by your registered vehicle, however this is subjected to change. Any unutilised pre-authorisation amount will be released back to your account after the holding period (7 – 10 days) determined by the issuing bank of the credit or debit card and will take 1 – 2 days to be reflected in your card statement.
You may receive a Credit or debit Card Transaction Alert from your issuing bank on the $50 pre-authorisation, if you have changed the default threshold amount to a lower threshold amount for the Credit Card Transaction Alert to be triggered.
Upon the utilization of 50% of the pre-authorised amount, an additional earmark of $50 will be made to ensure that you can continue using EZ-Link Motoring Service for your ERP or carpark (EPS) charges.
There is no limit set. However, to avoid disruption when using EZ-Link Motoring Service, kindly ensure that your credit card has sufficient credit limit.
You may wish to use a credit card that is not being used for interest-free payment scheme or cards with revolving balances.
Upon the confirmation, you will receive an email notification within 2 working days to advise you on the effective start date of your EZ-Link Motoring Service service.
Please remember that you should only remove your stored-value card from your IU after the effective start date of the EZ-Link Motoring Service service for your vehicle.
You can register up to 3 vehicles under each credit or debit card in your EZ-Link Motoring Service account.
Yes, you can apply for EZ-Link Motoring Service for a vehicle that is not registered under your name but you will remain liable for all charges incurred until you remove the vehicle from the EZ-Link Motoring Service service.
USING EZ-Link Motoring Service
Upon successful application of EZ-Link Motoring Service, it is normal for the IU to give off a beeping sound when passing through the ERP gantry when the stored-value card is not inserted into the IU. The ERP charges will be charged to your credit card registered with EZ-Link Motoring Service.
EZ-Link Motoring Service as the mode of payment will always take precedence over other forms of payments. Should you have a complimentary ticket, you can scan/insert your ticket at the machine and your EZ-Link Motoring Service charge will be automatically cancelled via the system.
TERMINATION
Your EZ-Link Motoring Service account will be terminated immediately if your credit card is terminated or when there is failure on the authorisation or pre-authorisation of your card.
You will be notified by SMS and email once the service is terminated.
Should you wish to re-apply for EZ-Link Motoring Service service, you may do so after 4 working days.
Please terminate your EZ-Link Motoring service via the EZ-Link app. Click on “EZ-Link Motoring” via the “Discover” tab, select your vehicle number, click on the menu bar and select “Terminate”.
Alternatively, you can contact our customer service hotline at 6496 8300 for assistance on terminating your EZ-Link Motoring Service account. Do note that we will require an additional 5-7 working days to process the termination.
Please remember to re-insert your stored-value card with sufficient amount into your IU upon submitting your request for termination.
Should you wish to re-apply for EZ-Link Motoring Service service, you may do so after 4 working days.
Please visit the EZ-Link Motoring Service website to re-apply for an EZ-Link Motoring Service account with your new card.
Please terminate your other ERP payment scheme before applying for EZ-Link Motoring Service.
Your EZ-Link Motoring Service account will be automatically terminated and you will receive an SMS and email notice.
You should also re-insert your stored-value card into your IU.
You may re-apply for EZ-Link Motoring Service after 4 working days.
CHARGES AND CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ISSUES
There is no service fee involved for EZ-Link Motoring Service. You will only be required to pay for the ERP or carpark (EPS) charges that your vehicle has incurred for the month.

Please terminate your current EZ-Link Motoring Service account. Upon receiving the SMS and email notice, you may re-apply for EZ-Link Motoring Service service after 4 working days.
You should receive a new credit or debit card with a new expiry date from your issuing bank. If there is a change in your credit card number, please terminate your EZ-Link Motoring Service account. Please refer to Termination of Service for more information.
Upon receiving your new credit or debit card, please log on to the EZ-Link app, head to EZ-Link Motoring on the Discover page to update your credit or debit card details.
Your EZ-Link Motoring Service charges will be reflected in your card statement as follows,
Alternatively, you may log in to the EZ-Link app to view the details of your EZ-Link Motoring Service transactions.
The ERP charges will be reflected in your monthly credit card statement according to the bank’s billing cycle.
CHECKING OF INFORMATION
You can log in to the EZ-Link app, head over to the EZ-Link Motoring page on the Discover tab, click on your vehicle number registered to view your detailed charges. Charges will usually reflected on your EZ-Link Motoring Service account the next day.
You can view your EZ-Link Motoring Service transaction history for the past six months.
TERMINATION OF SERVICE
Please terminate your EZ-Link Motoring service in advance before selling your vehicle via the EZ-Link app, and allow up to four working days for the termination to take effect. Click on “EZ-Link Motoring” via the “Discover” tab, select your vehicle number, click on the menu bar and select “Terminate”.

Upon termination of your EZ-Link Motoring Service account, please allow up to 4 working days for the termination to take effect before re-applying for a new account.
AMENDMENTS TO VEHICLE CAR PLATE NUMBER OR IU NUMBER
Upon updating your IU or vehicle’s registration number, the EZ-Link Motoring service will receive the update via LTA. You will then receive an email notification from EZ-Link to update your vehicle information or IU number within 7 working days.
Thereafter, please log-in to the EZ-Link app, to confirm on the change. When it has been confirmed, your EZ-Link Motoring service will take 5-7 working days to come into effect.
If there is a change in both IU and vehicle number or a transfer of ownership, please terminate and re-apply for EZ-Link Motoring Service service.
OTHERS
The transaction(s) will be valid and you should receive a notification letter from LTA for an IU inspection.
