EZ-Link and Travelmania collaborate to launch the first travel-and-sightseeing pass for tourists across the widest range of attractions in Singapore.

SINGAPORE, 26 January 2011 – Tourists can now visit the most popular attractions in Singapore with greater ease and style with the Go Singapore Pass. For the first time ever, visitors can gain direct entry into various tourist fun-spots and commute from one attraction to another within Singapore by public buses or MRT trains with just one card. Presented by EZ-Link Pte Ltd and Travelmania Pte Ltd, the Go Singapore Pass also offers free-and-easy travelers greater value for money by combining different entrance tickets into attractive packages, designed to suit tourists’ needs and travel itinerary.

The Go Singapore Pass is the only travel pass that includes an ez-link purse to bring visitors around the island via public transport and SMRT, TransCab and Premier taxis (when there are sufficient funds encoded on the ez-link purse), as well as allowing visitors to gain direct admission into many famous attractions in Singapore, such as the Singapore Zoological Gardens, Underwater World Singapore and the Singapore Flyer. It is also the only travel pass in Singapore that offers entry into Universal Studios Singapore in Resorts World Sentosa.

Tourists can choose from the four different types of Go Singapore Passes that are available, namely, the Sentosa Day Pass, the Sentosa + USS Day Pass, the Select Pass, and the Unlimited Day Pass. (Please refer to Annex A for the list of attractions each Pass offers.)

The Go Singapore Passes are conveniently available for purchase at Travelmania’s Tourist Service Centres located at the Orchard Xchange and Dhoby Xchange, as well as online at www.gosingaporepass.com.sg.

Each Pass comes with a S$5 stored value in the ez-link purse and can be used as a regular ez-link card to commute the various attractions as well as after the Pass to the attractions have been fully utilised. Should cardholders desire to use the ez-link purse on their Go Singapore Pass to pay for taxi fares or for retail payments, they can top-up the ez-link purse on their card at any TransitLink Ticket Office, SMRT and SBS Transit Passenger Service Counters at selected MRT stations for free or at 7- Eleven Convenience Stores and SingPost branches for a nominal convenience fee.
